Abstract
The 21-(dimethylamino)methyl N-confused porphyrin derivatives were synthesised by the Mannich reaction of dimethylmethyleneimmonium chloride and N-confused porphyrin. The reaction took place regioselectively in the inner carbon of the inverted pyrrole of N-confused porphyrins.
