Abstract
A new sesquiterpenoid eremophilenolactone and three known compounds were isolated from the MeOH extract of the aerial parts of Senecio nemorensis L. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic evidence including IR, HR-ESI-MS, 1D and 2D NMR techniques. The new compound was established as 8α-hydroxy-6β-(isobutanoyloxy)-eremophila-7(11),1(10)-dieno-12,8β-lactone.
