Abstract
The displacement reaction of TsiSiCl3 with nucleophiles does not take place, but in this work we did this reaction with some alcohols and phenols in the presence of base, to product silyl ethers of the type TsiSiCl2OR, TsiSiCl2OAr, (R= n-Pr, i-Bu, i-Am, PhCH2, and Ar = Ph, C6H4OMe-p, C6H4NH2-p, C6H4NO2-p, C6H4COOMe-o, C6H4NHCOOMe-p).
