Abstract
Summary
1) Intravenous injection of purified bovine erythrocyte acetylcholinesterase caused production of circulating antibodies in rabbits but not dogs. 2) Pre- and post-injection plasmas of all animals caused up to 25% inhibition of the purified acetylcholinesterase using acetyl-beta-methylcholine and up to 10% inhibition using acetylcholine as substrate.
