Abstract
Summary
The NDV hemolysin is shown to be inactivated by a single antibody molecule per virus. Electron irradiation of NDV indicates that rate of hemolysis of rbc depends on number of intact hemolysin units per virus, whereas ability to lyse rbc, given sufficient time, depends on the presence of only one intact hemolysin unit per virus.
