Summary
In cats the hyperkalemic response to epinephrine or to glucagon was blockaded by dibenamine, but dibenamine had little effect on the hyperglycemic response to epinephrine or to glucagon. The results suggest a selective action of dibenamine on potassium metabolism in the liver.
