Abstract
Summary
By means of a microinjection method it was possible to measure the fragility of mesenteric capillaries of the frog. Roentgen irradiation, heparin injection, trypsin and peptone shock increase the fragility of the capillaries. The increased capillary fragility appears to be a consequence of a liberation of heparin into the circulation of the animals, due to the irradiation or shock treatments.
