Summary
1. The presence of a constantly occurring carbohydrate fraction in the human aortic albuminoid has been demonstrated. 2. This carbohydrate fraction does not appear to be altered by age, sex, or pathological changes in the aorta. 3. The possible significance of this carbohydrate has been discussed.
