Summary
1. The synthesis of acetylcholine in vitro in the presence of sodium malonate, succinate, citrate, and fumarate was investigated. 2. Malonate decreased the synthesis of acetylcholine in the concentrations used, while citrate, succinate, and fumarate increased it.
