Abstract
Summary
An equine virus designated as 82-A, was isolated from spontaneously degenerating equine kidney cell cultures after prolonged cultivation. Morphological, physicochemical, and biological properties of the virus suggest that it is a cytomegalovirus of the equine herpesvirus group.
