Abstract
Summary
Jensen sarcoma caused a striking decrease in the glycosuria of extensively depancreatized male rats in the presence of the adrenal glands and in adrenalectomized-depancreatized rats treated with adrenal cortex extract. There was an accompanying decrease in the level of urinary nitrogen. The rate of tumor growth was inversely related to the severity of pancreatic diabetes.
