Summary
A new screening method for compounds which delay homograft rejection is described using the goldfish scale transplantation technique. It was shown that 6-Mercapto Purine and hydrocortisone acetate substantially delay homograft rejection in these fish. Moreover, sensitive dose-dependent responses were found with these drugs.
