Summary
Three live litters, totaling 13 rabbits, have been produced for the first time from frozen rabbit semen stored 24 hours at - 90°C. The diluter used was a modified CUE diluter containing 8% glycerine. Vasectomized males were used to induce ovulation and genetic proof was presented to show that the young could not have come from the vasectomized males.
