Abstract
Summary
A method is described for purifying and concentrating antibody globulins from serum of dogs hyperimmunized against canine distemper, infectious canine hepatitis and Leptospira canicola. Our data show that concentrated canine globulins contain all the protective antibody of serum. The method should make possible standardization of antibody content. Possible additional usage of concentrated canine globulins, analogous to clinical usage of human gamma globulin, has been suggested.
