Graphing Correlation Coefficients: An Optional Procedure

Abstract

A procedure is described for depicting the quantitative relationships among the coefficients of correlation (r), determination (r²), nondetermination (1 − r²) and alienation ( $\sqrt{1 - r^{2}}$ ) and the predictive index ( $1 - \sqrt{1 - r^{2}}$ ).
