Similarities and differences in subjects' touching behaviors in two racquet sports, tennis (n = 50) and racquetbali (n = 200), were examined to learn whether postcontest interacrive rirual is observed for racquetball as for tennis (handshake?). Analysis confirmed the tennis handshake and significantly more physical contact between tennis than between racquetbali players. No significant differences were noted in postcontest verbal contacts or in differential touching by winners and losers.
