Using Reinforcement and Goal Setting to Increase Proofreading Accuracy

Abstract

Proofreading accuracy of 87 undergraduates was significantly increased by goal setting combined with reinforcement, while simple main effects in the 2 × 2 factorial design were not significantly related to increased accuracy.
