Previous research on source credibility yields five dimensions of credibility which remain stable in repeated tests. This study uses perceptions obtained from a panel of 180 college students to test dimensions of source credibility for two candidates, four times during a political campaign. The results show variation of dimensions and measures of source credibility between the candidates and among the measurement periods during this campaign.
