The My Class Inventory was administered to 211 Barbadian Grade 6 children from three elementary schools (all ‘girls,’ ‘all boys,’ and ‘coeducational’) to examine their perceptions of their classroom learning environment. Greater satisfaction and less friction was noted in the ‘all girls’ school than in the ‘all boys’ and ‘coeducational’ schools.
