Responses of 269 men and 482 women out of 1,430 men and 1,400 women to a Body-cathexis Scale, showed men and women gave mean ratings between neutral and moderately positive. Pearson coefficients for age with body cathexis and with several body parts were weak. Further descriptive data should be sought.
