Abstract
A device is described which synchronizes synthesizer music to the movement of an exercise cycle. This is achieved by transmission of electrical pulses, generated during pedal rotation, to a PC, to control the emission to a synthesizer of note codes for songs stored in the computer. The favorite onset point of the beats during leg stretching can be chosen and that position maintained. So, while exercising, the individual keeps time without having to concentrate on doing so. Reactions of subjects to initial tests are positive.
