Abstract
This study examined the relations of sex and intelligence with performance on the Wiggly Block measure of structural visualization across three age groups (16 to 29 yr., 30 to 65 yr., and over 65 yr.). The Wiggly Block Worksample 4, 5, 6 and the AH4 Group Test of General Intelligence were administered to 95 adults from the three age groups. Scores on the Wiggly Block showed a declining pattern of performance from young adulthood through middle age, as well as after 65 yr. of age. There was evidence of only very weak correlation between sex and performance (structural visualization) in favor of men.
