Abstract
20 men and 20 women rated the relative attractiveness of female models wearing normal attire and sexually alluring attire. Men found the models more attractive in miniskirts and short shorts. Women found the models less attractive when wearing blatant forms of sexually alluring attire (no bra in a wet T-shirt, fully unbuttoned shirt, miniskirt) than when wearing more normal modes of attire.
