The present brief report discusses Triangles, a subtest of the Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children. Similar to Wechsler's Block Design, Triangles is primarily a measure of nonverbal concept formation and visual-motor coordination. The present author has observed an alternate “correct” solution to Item 17. Although psychometrically incorrect, this response may aid the school psychologist in determining cognitive styles and areas of skill development or remediation.
