Abstract
The predictive validities of clinical and actuarial scores of the Gesell Incomplete Man Test were investigated to determine their relationships with selected intelligence, achievement, and creativity measures over a 5-yr. interval. Criterion measures included the Lorge-Thorndike Intelligence Test, Goodenough-Harris Figure Drawing Test, Iowa Tests of Basic Skills, and Torrance Circle Test. Correlational analysis indicated that each scoring method yielded generally similar relationships with corresponding criterion measures. Except for the relationships with intellectual criteria, however, the predictive value of the Incomplete Man was negligible for these boys and girls of elementary-school age (N = 61).
