Relationship between Quick Test and WISC-R and Reading Ability as Used in a Juvenile Setting

Abstract

As part of a regular screening procedure, Quick Test, WISC-R and WRAT, among others, were administered to 87 boys and 53 girls. Significant correlations were obtained between Quick Test and WISC-R IQs, and between Quick Test and WRAT Reading scores. The results clearly indicate that Quick Test is an effective tool for making a valid brief estimate of intelligence.
