Clare and Sanford (1979) were cited incompletely in the introdaction to the article, Multidimensional scaling and standardized testing of value systems (Dunbar, Smith, Bearse, Johnson, Salick, Erenkrantz, & Ironson, 1981). I sincerely apologize for the error and for any adverse consequences of that error. Clare and Sanford were referenced twice, but as a result of the mechanics involved in writing and re-writing by correspondence over an extended period of time, direct quotation marks were omitted. The error was certainly unincentional, and I assume full personal responsibility for this unfortunate occurrence.
