Perceived Religiosity and Perceived Sanctioned Threat

Abstract

Data collected from 50 randomly selected women of a women's parochial college support the hypothesis that perceived sanctioned threat is directly associated with perceived religiosity. Variation in the sup' port indicates where moral issues are strongest, perceived sanctioned threat is greatest.
