Application of Epley and Ricks' (1963) system to score the TAT for time perspective did not reproduce the high interscorer reliabilities reported by users of the system. A set of guidelines is presented which were instituted to decrease the subjective nature of the system. When guidelines and system were used together, correlations comparable to those previously reported were found.
