The study attempted to identify attitudes and practices related to the use of media-oriented resources in higher education. Responses of 519 faculty members on a 24-item questionnaire were correlated and factored. Six orthogonal factors were rotated and three were identified: Positive Attitude Toward Media Resources, Media Readiness, and Media Resource Usage. The findings may be used to develop scales for assessing impact of instructional programs and for identifying potential users.
