32 Sioux children between the ages of 5 and 10 yr. were given the Bender-Gestalt test by either a white or a Native American examiner. No significant differences in Koppitz scores of children tested by either examiner were noted. When the mean score for this sample was compared to the normative values provided by Koppitz, the Sioux children's scores were significantly lower or were similar to the norms for children 1 1/2 to 2 yr. younger.
