A tabulation of students' predictions of the age of a president of the American Psychological Association was compared with actual ages from 1850 to 1975 and with those of several others. Mean age of presidents of professional organizations did not change over 100 yr. That of presidents of research organizations decreased, unlike Lehman's work.
