A factor analysis of measures of 19 variables from the Revised Teacher Characteristics Schedule of 294 student teachers yielded four correlated factors: I, Imaginative, stimulating, flexible teaching behavior; II, Warm, kindly, friendly, humanistic teaching behavior; III, Altruism and Commitment to Teaching as a Career; IV, Logical, cognitive teaching behavior.
