Only children and firstborns of siblings, men and women (N = 7; N = 28), were compared (2 × 2) on dependency measures of embedded figures (interaction and main effects significant), rod-frame (sex effect), and self-endorsement social dependency tests (sex effect). The correlation of .56 for embedded figures with rod-frame scores was significant.
