This study attempts to determine interest and participation in high school activities. For 950 male college freshmen physical education students participation in activity was determined by an Information Check List. The results indicated that high school students tended to participate in team activities, but when asked what they were interested in learning as new activities, they preferred the individual activities that could be participated in during later years.
