Abstract
20 albino rats were reared with one of two different temporal light patterns (Dash-Dot-Dot; Dot-Dash-Dot) for 60 days and subsequently tested for preference between their rearing pattern or a different pattern. The results indicated that both groups tended to prefer the Dash-Dot-Dot pattern. However, the effects of being reared with a particular pattern for 60 days did not significantly increase the preference of the pre-exposed group for their pattern compared to the results of a group not exposed to this pattern.
