Abstract
10 right handers and 10 left handers were matched for degree of handedness by questionnaire and their performances with each hand were tested on seven different motor tasks. The influence of motivation on achievement level on each task with each hand was assessed by four different measures. Correlation of task performance and general level of motivation showed little or no over-all influence of motivation across tasks or hand employed but a positive if weak effect on performance where motivation on each task was assessed separately.
