Abstract
An attempt was made to establish further correlates of the Barron Complexity Scale. Thirty-seven students were administered the Barron scale, Cline Interpersonal Perception Films, and the Haiman Scale for Measurement of Open Mindedness. These students were also rated for empathy. Significant correlations were found with the Barron scale and age, and with two of the Cline films, listening and seeing. Findings suggest that the more complex person has keener perceptual and listening skills than the less complex person
