Abstract
Intellectual abilities which might contribute to success in competitive situations in badminton were studied. Test items and factors of intelligence previously reported were considered, and 10 tests were developed. Items were patterned after existing tests but were original with the writers. A time limit was imposed for each test. Time limits and scoring methods were revised after studying responses for 8 volunteer Ss. The tests were digit symbol, lozenges, pattern analogies, word fluency, number series, blocks, pursuit, matrix, code, and disarranged sentences.
