2 questionnaires were constructed; 1 consisted of 33 items from the MMPI F scale (most persons respond “false” to these) followed by 62 items from the MMPI Social Introversion (Si) scale. The other contained Si items before F items. A group of male and one of female Ss (54 Ss per group) responded to each form. The hypothesis that Ss who had the F items first would respond differently to the Si items was not confirmed.
