This paper is one of a series dealing with, among other things, the psychology of theorizing. The next paper in the series will be a lengthy one proposing that attitude toward equilibrium theorizing varies inversely with capacity for Rorschachian inner creation, regardless of discipline or of object of theory (e.g., biological, economic, psychological, or social systems). The present paper may be regarded a prologue to it or a preview of its approach.
