The effects of low-intensity acoustical stimulation on the visual threshold of 2 Ss were investigated. 4 levels of white noise intensity were used, paired in random sequence with 10 different intensities of light, and randomly alternated with periods of quiet. It was found that white noise affects visual threshold, although the exact nature of this effect was not determined.
