When the stimulus object is a circle Ss report many different kinds of experience apart from the perception of the circle. These include (amongst many others) radii, polygons, concentric circles, and small straight lines. Most of these experiences are characterized by rhythmic oscillations for which frequency measurements are given in c/s.
