From psychological test data of 50 hospitalized alcoholics and 50 control Ss absence of differences suggested heterogeneity of personality characteristics of alcoholics. There was some evidence for central nervous system damage in the alcoholic S and a suggestion that his world-view may differ from that of the non-alcoholic.
