An Easily Constructed Reaction Time Apparatus

Abstract

Two methods of modifying a Standard Electric stop clock to serve as a reaction time device have been described. In one method an easily constructed control box is used to interrupt the power source of the clock. This approach leads to a less accurate apparatus than one constructed by wiring the control box into the clutch control circuit of the timer. However, the latter modification is more complicated and relatively permanent.
