Abstract
Portions of a fine motor performance test for children, standardized in the Netherlands, were administered to a sample of 8-, 9-, and 10-yr.-old American children. The results indicated that in certain fine motor tasks (1) there is an improvement with age, (2) there are significant sex differences, and (3) European and American children appear to be different.
