Abstract
The grip strength of 20 males on arousal from sleep was compared with their afternoon performance as measured by the Smedly Hand Dynamometer. There was a significant decrease in grip strength. No recovery effect in the 1-min. tests was found nor was there an effect of repeated morning testings.
