Abstract
Previous studies of choice from identical options highlight the important phenomenon of qualitative bias in the selection frequencies. Most recently, this bias was estimated numerically and appeared to be deeply related to the Golden Ratio, which has been important in the history of psychology. In this study, a unified approach capable of modeling choices from identical options was brought. First, certain similarities found across a number of options are identified. Second, a possible theoretical model was considered by testing model of choices from two options developed by Lefebvre. Recent analysis suggested a way to extend Lefebvre's bipolar model for more than two options.
