Abstract

A procedure for dynamics analysis is given that provides a stepped approach to dynamics problems in undergraduate level Engineering courses. Also described is a dynamics teaching project that uses the procedure in the analysis and design of model dragsters on an instrumented test track. Both form part of a distance learning course in Engineering Mechanics.
