A theoretical model for couple-stress fluids film mechanism with reference to human joints has been considered in this study. A couple-stress fluid film is taken as a lubricant. The expression for load capacity has been obtained in terms of couple-stress parameter, film thickness, and porosity parameter. The dependence of load on these parameters has been studied graphically.
